*N이/가 좋다 : to like/ to enjoy N

2. 못 V : can not V

오늘은 학교에 못 갔어요.
I couldn't go to school today.

3. 왜 : why

어제 왜 안 왔어요?
- 바빠서 못 왔어요.
Why didn't you come yesterday?
- I couldn't come because I am busy.

3. S-아서/어서 S :    S, so S.

날씨가 추워서 집에 있었어요.
The weather was cold, so I stayed at home.

시험이 있어서 바빠요.
I have a test, so I'm busy.

버스가 복찹해서 지하철을 탔어요.
The busy was crowded, so I took the subway.


4. N을/를 구경하다 : to see / to watch

영희는 어제 축구를 구경했어요.
Younghee saw a football game yesterday .

*N을/를 구경을 가다 : to go to watch N

영희는 어제 축구를 구경을 갔어요.
Younghee went to see a football game yesterday.


5. 미안하지만 : I am sorry/ excuse me, but

미안하지만 바빠서 못 가요.
I am sorry but I am too busy to go.

미안하지만  종이 좀 주세요.
Excuse me, could I have some paper please?


6. 시험이 있다 / 서험을 보다 : have a test/ take a test.

시험을 보니까 공부하세요.
Study for your test.

시험이 있어서 같이 못 가요.
I have a test, so I can't go with you.


 
7. 다음 N : next N

다음 버스를 탑시다
Let's take the next bus.

다음 역이 서울대입구입니다.
The next station is Seoul National University station.


Notes:

1. Both 못 and 안  are followed by action verb. 못 means can't, while 안 means don't.

2. -아서/어서 means "because/since". They are used to use to explain the result of the previous action.
