2. N을/를 들다/드시다 : to have/eat N (honorific of 먹다)

*들다: eat


뭘 드시겠어요?
- 불고기를 먹겠어요.

- I would like to have pulgogi.

- I am sorry. I can't today.  However, I can tomorrow.

배가 아파서 먹을 수(가) 없어요.
I have a stomachache, so I can't eat anything.

지금은 손님이 와서 갈 수없어요.
I can't go now because I have a guest.


4. 아뇨 : No  (shortened form of 아니오)

지금 밖에 비가 와요?
- 아뇨. 안 와요.
Is it raining outside now?
- No, it's not.

5. 더 V : more V

법 좀 더 주세요.
More rice, please.

한 사람 더 올 거예요.
Another person will come.


6. 이리/저리/그리 : this way/that way

이리 오세요.
Come this way, please.

저기 빨리 가세요.
Hurry up and go that way.


7. N-요. : one-word statements.

무엇을 살 거에요?
-책요.
What will you buy?
-A book

8. A/V-아서/어서 미안하다 : I am sorry for A/V

늦어서 미안해요.
I am sorry for late.

절화를 못 해서 미안해요.
I am sorry for not calling you.

Notes:

When verb stems ending with 'ㄹ' are followed by 'ㄴ', 'ㅂ', or 'ㅅ', the consonant 'ㄹ' is deleted as seen in 들어서 -->드세요 and 멀고 -->머니까.
