인주시청은 일회용 컵 사용양의 변화를 조사하였다. 우선 일회용 컵 사용량의 변화과 같다. 2009년에 5천만 개, 2019년에 1억 2천만 개로 2.4배 증가하였다. 한편, 재질별 사용량의 변화를 살펴보면, 종이 컵은 2009년 이후 2019년까지 지속적으로 증가한 반면, 플라스틱 컵은 2009에서 2017까지 증가하다가 그후 감소하였다. 일회용 컵 사용량 증가의 원인은 커피 전문점 이용객 수의 증가에서 찾을 수 있다. 플라스틱 컵 사용이 2017년 이후 감소한 것은 일회용 컵 규제 정책을 실시한 것이 원인이 된다.

   최근 인터넷과 스마트폰의 보급으로 인터넷 방송이 크게 늘었다. 그러면서 누구나 쉽게 자신이 원하는 내용으로 방송을 하거나 원하는 방송을 찾아볼 수 있게 되었다. 이로 인한 장점과 단점은 어떤 것들이 있을까?

 먼저 개인방송이 많아짐으로써 시청자 입장에서는 자신이 원하는 내용을 골라 볼 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 방송사에서 정해진 시간대에 TV를 통해 방송을 제공하던 과거와 달리 이제는 많은 개인방송 중에 내가 원하는 방송을 찾아볼 수 있게 되었다. 뿐만 아니라 댓글을 통해 상호소통이 가능해졌다는 장점도 있다.

 하지만 이로 인한 문제점도 존재한다. 개인방송은 가짜 뉴스나 잘못된 정보를 걸러줄 수 있는 여과장치가 존재하지 않는다. 또한 시청자들의 관심을 끌기 위해 지나치게 폭력적이거나 선정적인 내용을 다루는 등 자극적은 방송이 되기 쉽다.

그렇다면 이런 문제점을 해결하고 1인 미디어 시대를 더욱 발전시키 나가기 위해서 어떻게 해야할까? 먼저 시청자들은 개인방송의 내용을 무조건적으로 수용하기보다는 비판적인 사고를 가지고 시청하는 자세가 필요하다. 또한 문제가 되는 프로그램에 대해 규제할 수 있는 법적 제재 역시 마련해 나가야할 것이다.

1인 미디어 시대를 통해 더욱 다양한 방법으로 세상과 소통하고 자신을 표현할 수 있는 시대가 되었다. 앞으로도 적극적으로 자신을 표현하고 주체적으로 정보를 선별하는 자세가 더욱 요구될 것이다.
