Reading Comprehension

New Words:

·        단말기 → Card reader

·        대다 → To tap (a card)

·        환승 → Transfer

·        하차 → Getting off

·        잔액 → Balance

·        동료 → Colleague

Translation:
"I often take the village bus to work. But I remember being flustered on the bus because my Korean was poor. Usually, when you tap your card, it says ‘Beep’ or ‘Transfer.’ When getting off, it says ‘Exit.’ But that day, when I tapped my card, it said, ‘Insufficient balance.’ I didn’t know what ‘balance’ meant, so I panicked. A Korean colleague explained and paid my fare. I was so grateful."
