A Yellow Ocean of 100,000 Daffodils Blooms by the Sea in Busan

Spring in Busan is not only about cherry blossoms. One of the city’s most beautiful early spring scenes appears when thousands of bright yellow daffodils (수선화) bloom along the coastal cliffs of Oryukdo Sunrise Park.

A Yellow Ocean of 100,000 Daffodils Blooms Overlooking the Sea in Busan

Every March, the hillside near the famous Oryukdo Skywalk transforms into a sea of yellow flowers overlooking the ocean. With the dramatic Oryukdo Islands in the background, it’s one of the most photogenic spring landscapes in Busan.

🌼 Bloom Season (2026 expected):
• Start blooming: Mid-March
• Peak bloom: Late March – Early April

📸 Best time to visit:
• Morning for clear ocean views
• Sunset for golden light over the flowers and sea

Walking along the coastal path while surrounded by daffodils and the sound of waves makes this spot feel like a hidden spring paradise — and it’s still less crowded than many cherry blossom destinations.

📍 Location: 197-5 San, Yongho-dong, Nam-gu, Busan (부산 남구 용호동 산 197-5)

If you’re planning a spring trip to Busan, don’t miss this yellow spring landscape by the sea before cherry blossom season fully begins.
