비교하다 = compare / so sánh

This store sells cakes on a reservation basis, so you need to order them in advance to buy.

 

그 미용실은 예약제로만 운영되는 곳이에요.

The hair salon is operated only on a reservation basis.

 

우리 가게는 이번 달부터 예약제를 시작했어요.

Our store started the reservation system from this month.

 

1박2일 = 1 night 2 days

 

나타샤 씨는  1박2일로 부산 출장을 다녀왔다.

Natasha went on a business trip to Busan for 2 days and 1 night.

 

1박2일 일정의 여행은 너무 짧다.

A two-day, one-night trip is too short.

 

친구와 1박2일 동안 여행을 하기로 했다.

I decided to travel with a friend for 2 days and 1 night.

 

추가하다/되다 = add / thêm

 

여기 삼겹살 1인분 더 추가해 주세요.

Please add one more serving of pork belly.

 

양이 부족해서 밥 한 공기를 추가해서 먹었어요.

I didn't have enough, so I added a bowl of rice.

 

예약한 사람보다 더 많이 오면 비용이 추가돼요.

If you arrive more than the number of people booked, an additional fee will be charged.

 

2. ‘휴가철’ 어휘 = Holiday season-related vocabularies

 

휴가철(6): 겨울철 (winter), 비수기 (off-season), 성수기 (peak season), 여름철 (summer), 여름휴가 (summer vacation), 휴가철 (holiday season)

 

겨울철 = winter / mùa đông

 

추운 겨울철에는 감기에 걸리기 쉬워요.

In the cold winter, it is easy to catch a cold.

 

겨울철은 낮이 짧고 밤이 길어요.

In winter, the days are short, and the nights are long.

 

저는 스케이트 같은 겨울철 운동을 좋아해요. (겨울철 운동 = winter sports)

I like winter sports such as skating.

 

비수기 = the low season, off-season / mùa thấp điểm

 

비수기에는 비행기 표 값이 성수기보다 훨씬 싸요.

During the low season, air tickets are much cheaper than during the high season.

 

지금은 비수기라서 여행지가 한산하네요.

It's off-season right now, so the destination is quiet.

 

3월 초는 스키장 비수기예요.

Early March is the low season for ski resorts.

 

성수기 = the peak season / mùa cao điểm

 

여행 성수기에는 어디에 가나 사람들이 많이요.

There are a lot of people everywhere in the peak travel season.

 

8월은 여행 성수기라서 호텔이 비싸요.

August is the peak travel season, so hotels are expensive.

 

성수기가 아니면 비행기 값이 싸요.

If it is not the peak season, flights are cheap.

 

여름철 =  summer / mùa hè 

 

여름철에는 날씨가 더워서 음식이 쉽게 상한다.

In summer, the weather is hot, so food spoils easily.

 

삼계탕은 여름철 대표 음식이다.

한국은 여름철에 비가 많이 내린다.

It rains a lot in summer in Korea.

 

여름휴가 = summer vacation / kỳ nghỉ hè
